Here is the type of boats there are if you plan to go fishing in the lagoon. This is the Tres Vidas Golf Course just minutes by car from the house. It cost about $140 a round of golf at Tres Vidas. If you fish off shore the fishing is free and the local soccer matches are free.
The cost of food is some what less than in the states, but not too much different. A large fresh fish at the market is about $5:00 and a dozen eggs is about $1.20 if this is any help. The local restaurants charge about 6 pesos for a beer and 50 pesos for a plate of fish which is about 90 cents and 6 dollars.
So, if you cook in the kitchen the food is about the same as you would spend in the house and the restaurants are not very expensive. In fact some of the food would be cheaper than if you bought it in a store, but you would not have the privacy of the house. Main Page
